The San Francisco Art Book Fair co-founder, Jaime Alexander, Park Life owner, asked me to document one of the first years of the SFABF, now an annual multi-day exhibition and celebration of printed material from independent publishers, artists, designers, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the world. SFABF was founded in 2016 as a joint collaboration between Colpa Press, Park Life, and Minnesota Street Project. I photographed both overview and event shots, as well as portraits of many of the exhibiting artists amidst a crowded, chaotic and colorful setting, offering publicity image for the burgeoning West Coast book fair.
