Airyka Rockefeller is a photographer based in San Francisco since 2003.
Airyka’s editorial and personal work explores the themes of home, design and artful living. Her commercial work is largely hospitality-focused with a mix of food/wine, health, and interior- & landscape-design work. She is commissioned by businesses across diverse fields of art/design, interiors/gardens, health and food/wine. She brings warmth, curiosity, thoughtfulness, and 15 years of experience to collaborations large and small.
Collaboration, conversation and curiosity are the pillars of Airyka’s creative approach. Her work is multidisciplinary; she has worked in interior design, fashion, food, publishing, writing and interiors/styling in addition to her photographic work. Commissioned photographic projects range in price depending on the duration, scope, travel and resulting imagery. At times, Airyka photographs gatherings and events related to client’s projects when a documentary approach to imagery is preferred.

Portraiture,
Studio Visits
& Home Visits:
The Portrait Package is an hour and a half collaborative session resulting in a selection of 20 portraits, set in one or two environments, ideally spaces that are an extension of one’s identity, work, and process.
The Studio Visit Package is a three hour collaborative session which documents individuals of all sorts—as well as any creative processes and studio space, as well as portraits. It results in a selection of 30-40 photographs. Peruse Artists At Work to see some examples.
The Home Package is a three-four hour long session that documents individuals at home, as well as the place they call home. These result in a selection of 40-50 photographs. Peruse Artists at Home to see examples.
Each package provides high-resolution images for personal and professional use. Photo sessions are prefaced by preparatory conversations about each person’s work, work or home space, audience and timeline so sessions are most fruitful.
