People I've Loved is an Oakland-based, artist-founded company offering inspirational and functional objects to facilitate connection between people and help them have authentic, sometimes difficult conversations. For their winter product launch, I photographed, styled and art-directed a range of products: journals, calendars, work-books, card-decks, mugs, and small trays, in a soft, pastel and flora-inspired style that reflects People I’ve Loved's self-care products. I even photographem them in my own home to nod to the intimate chronicling that such products promote. I also worked to make the final images compelling to a detail-oriented yet free-spirited, youthful, audience, not only shooting the products, but truly using them, writing in them, embodying their ethos.
