Martha Almy, founder of Half Sister Studio, brings together interdisciplinary experts for various design projects, often in the arts events realm. When she isn’t working on Half Sister Studio, Martha hosts gatherings that are also in a sense, immersive design projects—creating gatherings that are visual and culinary works of art. Martha asked me to create photographs for this new aspect of her existing business. I provided her a range of images juxtaposing a bountiful feast, a dinner party on a rainy day at the Oregon coast, her table top prowess, as well as portraits of her in her Portland, Oregon garden.
