SELF-PORTRAITS TO DISAPPEAR:
Self-Portraits to Disappear were made within slumbering, exurban, communal terrains which beckoned Houdini-like transgressions of disappearance, escape, and reappearance.
However futile and fantastical, body doubling for solitary performances before the camera gives way for gestures compelled not by day, within the stiflingly regulared structures of architecture, but instead evoked under cast of darkness in seemingly abandoned, baroque landscapes.
Here, amidst yielding time-zones, between and past and present avatars, the body moves and morphs in the constantly changing light.
